Why juicing is good when fighting cancer

Fruit is the purest form of food on the planet. Vegetables come a close second. Fruits and vegetables should be eaten raw and organic – especially if you have cancer. Eating only raw organic fruit and vegetables is a vegan diet – and juicing them is the best way to beat cancer.

Why make juice?

Juicing fruits and vegetables increases your intake of healthy nutrients in a shorter time and makes it easier to digest these fibrous foods. Some people feel bloated if they eat large quantities of raw fruit and vegetables but when they are juiced, the fibrous bits are left behind.

But juicing does not always do justice to the fruits or vegetables – or to you. Juicing tends to leave out the best nutrients in the seeds and skin of many fruits and vegetables which are extremely beneficial to patients with cancer. Juicing for cancer should therefore be accompanied by food processing for cancer to ensure these extra nutrients are also consumed. Get yourself a juicer and food processor if you want to start juicing for cancer.

Dieticians have formulated special eating plans for people in stages 1, 2, 3 and 4 of cancer where specific fruits and vegetables need to be eaten in specific ways to beat the cancer. Hundreds of these raw foods contain cancer-killing nutrients which need to be combined with other nutrients to fight the cancer. Using a food processor means you can grind the seeds and skins of the plants to eat the mush and therefore get the innate nutrients you need.

Why not cooked food?

When you cook any foods, you destroy most of their essential enzymes that you need for overall health. Enzymes assist the body to digest the food and to absorb the necessary nutrients but when we cook the food, these enzymes are lost and the food becomes less nutritional and harder to digest. Some vegetables do release nutrients when cooked but when it comes to fighting cancer, raw is best and juice is better.

When you eat cooked foods, you put a lot of pressure on your body to digest the foods and this compromises your immune system. We end up tiring our bodies out when we consume foods coated in toxins such as pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, hormones and others. Our immune systems get weaker and can no longer fight these toxins to keep us healthy.

Remember that juicing fruits and vegetables is a health panacea in itself but juicing for cancer is different – you have to select the right fruits and vegetables that are known cancer-killers and you have to understand how they work and what they work better with or without.

Making the juice

Carrots are your top cancer-fighting vegetable and juiced raw they are delicious and nutritionally beneficial in many ways. Carrots contain thousands of phytonutrients and carotenoids including betacarotene, all great for treating cancer – despite the fact you may turn orange!

You can consume as much fruit juice per day as you want to – there are no limits. You must choose your fruits carefully and you will find that you actually feel full after a few glasses of pure juice. The best fruits for cancer are those which are dark purple or blue, plus pineapple plus tomatoes. Grapes are a cancer panacea in that they contain a battery of nutrients for your battle.

These are the best cancer-fighting fruits that you need to include in your fruit juices:

  • Whole purple grapes including seeds and skins (ellagic acid, catechin, quercetin, oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) or procyanidolic oligomers (PCO) in the seeds, resveratrol, pterostilbene, selenium, lycopene, lutein, laetrile (amygdalin or Vitamin B17), beta-carotene, caffeic acid and/or ferulic acid and gallic acid.
  • Berries such as raspberries, blueberries, strawberries (laetrile and ellagic acid)
  • Stone fruits such as peaches and apricots including their stones (laetrile)
  • Pineapple (bromelain, peroxidase)
  • Tomatoes

Juicing vegetables for cancer

Remember to include carrots in every juice you make. Then you can also concentrate on cabbage, broccoli, beetroot, beetroot leaves, cauliflower, peppers and then add turmeric to the mix. The minimum requirements for your regular vegetable juice are there raw ingredients:

  • A large quantity of cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower (cruciferous vegetables)
  • Beetroots including their leaves
  • Carrots

You can also eat these vegetables raw to get your fibre intake – you need this fibre to help clean out your colon and keep you waste free so that your body absorbs as many nutrients as possible when you consume your juices.

Take a look at these cancer-killing nutrients within your raw vegetables:

  • Carrots – alpha carotene, beta carotene, Vitamin E and more
  • Cabbage – isothiocyanates
  • Green asparagus – saponins
  • Beetroots – proanthocyanidins (PACs or OPCs)
  • Tumeric – curcumin

Juicing for cancer means just that – only consuming raw fruits and vegetables and avoiding all cooked foods. If you have cancer these are the foods you should steer completely clear of:

  • All animal products including meat, cheese, milk, butter, eggs
  • All refined sugars, starches and carbohydrates.

Glucose and your juices

When you commit to your juice fast, you need to understand how the glucose within the fruits and vegetables work. Raw carrots, for example, contain lots of glucose (a simple sugar we get from plants that circulates in our bodies that we use for energy) which the cancer cells love. When the cancer cells absorb the carrots’ glucose, they also absorb the other nutrients carrots offer and these then kill the cancer cells.

If you are drinking a juice made from carrots and other vegetables, the nutrients from these vegetables will also be absorbed by the cancer cells. The cancer cells may not die of there is too much glucose coming their way so it is best to only juice and consume those fruits and vegetables known to kill cancer cells. If you drink too many nutrients containing too much glucose, you will dilute the effect of the glucose on the cancer cells and may not kill them.

Conclusion

Juicing for cancer is a unique process but once you have started, you will find your rhythm and love the tastes and effects of all the juices you make. Remember to get a good quality juicer and food processor and to eat the pulp including seeds and skins of the fruits and vegetables listed above. Do your research and look after yourself.
